Step-by-Step Installation Guide

Tekla Structures & Construsoft Tools

Step 1 – 🪪 Create or access your Trimble Identity

To download Tekla products and use your subscription, you need a Trimble Identity. 

Your Trimble Identity is linked to your company’s account, which includes all users within your organization. If you do not yet have a Trimble Identity, follow the instructions in this article: How to create your Trimble Identity.

Signing in requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) or two-step verification. If MDA has not yet been enabled by your company, you can set it up when creating your Trimble Identity. More information about MFA can be found here.

Step 2 - 💿 Download and install Tekla Structures

To download Tekla Structures:

1. Go to the Tekla Structures Download page.
2. Log in using your Trimble Identity.
3. Open Trimble Downloads.
4. Download the latest Tekla Structures installer or service pack.

Save the installer locally and run it to start the installation. Note that during this step, no specific environment needs to be installed.

We recommend installing Tekla Structures in the following folder: C:\TeklaStructures

Step 3 - 🔧 Download and install the Construsoft Tools library

Download and save the installer locally. Run the installer of Construsoft Tekla Structures tools. Select your language and click Install.

Note:  If the installer of Construsoft Tekla Structures tools is already installed, you’ll see an Update option instead of Install.

Step 4 - 🔑 License Assignment

You need to add your employees to the organization so they can use Tekla Online services.

Your administrator must assign a license to you. He/she should have received an invitation to your organization in the Tekla Online Admin Tool. You can check to see if you can verify whether your license has already been assigned here (Online Profile).

If by your contracted start date, you don’t have a license assigned yet, please check with your company’s administrator or feel free to reach out to Construsoft Support.

You are already in the Construsoft Support Portal. To get set up as a user, please follow the instructions in this article. Please login using your Creditentials.
